T-20 World Cup: Namibia to clash with Ireland; Sri Lanka to take on Netherlands today

  • In the Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup, in a Group ‘B’ league match, Namibia will take on Ireland in Sharjah at 3.30 p.m. today followed by a Group ‘A’ clash between Sri Lanka and the Netherlands at the same venue at 7.30 p.m. Today’s matches will decide the fourth team to join India, West Indies, Australia, South Africa, Afghanistan, Pakistan, England and New Zealand for Super-12 stage which will begin tomorrow. Sri Lanka, Scotland and Bangladesh have already made it to the Super twelves. Scotland created history when they entered second round for the first time with thumping eight wicket win over Oman yesterday.
  • In the first Super-12 match tomorrow, Australia will take on South Africa in Abu Dhabi, while West Indies will clash with England in Dubai. India will play their first match with Pakistan on Sunday. All India Radio will broadcast ball-by-ball commentary of the World Cup from tomorrow.
